Double Decker Fusion Bento

A nutritional double decker bento cooked with various healthy ingredients. The bento is separated into two parts, the fusion meat-cake cooked in Japanese miso sauce and the side dish which is mixed brown rice steamed with ginger and spring onions in lotus leaf. The pork based meat-cakes are creatively handmade with international ingredients including the traditional Italian salami sausage slides, the classic south-east Asian herbs of basil and lemongrass, together with Chinese preserved squid cooking with Japanese miso sauce to create a different layers of flavour and texture. The healthy steam rice is rich in dietary fibre provided by the mixed brown rice which contain 17 kinds of grain, wrapping in a lotus leaf and steaming with ginger and spring onion to sublimate the special aroma and taste. A perfect example of healthy and tasty cooking.

Fusion Meat-Cake Pork, Chinese preserved squid, Italian salami sausage, Basil, Lemongrass, Japanese Miso (Red), Chicken-stock, Rice wine, Flour, Water Steamed Lotus Brown Rice Mixed brown rice (with 17 kinds of grain), Ginger, Spring onion, Lotus leaf Side Mixed salad vegetable, Cherry tomato, Lettuce, Pickle

作り方

  • Fusion Meat-Cake 1) Mice the pork and other main ingredients 2) Mix all ingredients and seasoning then stir well 3) Making the mixed ingredient into cake shape 4) Fry the meat cakes with little bit of oil for 5 mins 5) Add Chicken stock and Japanese Miso, cook for an other 10-15mins 6) Take out the meat cakes, add flour and water to cook the sauce
  • Steamed Lotus Brown Rice 1) Soak the mixed rice with warm water, mice the ginger and spring onion 2) Mix the rice with ginger and spring onion, seasoning with oil and salt 3) Wrap the mixed ingredient with a soaked lotus leaf 4) Stream for 25mins
