Fruits for sweet, fried fish for salty, mandarin for acid, dijonnaise for bitter and chicken for umami.

  • black sesame seeds / sufficient quantity
  • soy sauce / 2 tbsp
  • boiled soy beans / sufficient quantity
  • Flour / sufficient quantity
  • egg / 1
  • honey / 2 tbsp
  • cherry in syrup / 1
  • apple / 1 segment
  • mandarin / 1
  • mini fig / 1/2
  • mini banana / 1
  • cherry tomatoes / 5
  • sword fish / 3 pieces
  • boiled rice /1 cup
  • chicken breast / 30 g
  • maille dijonnaise / sufficient quantity
  • panko / sufficient quantity
  • oil / sufficient quantity
  • salt / sufficient quantity
  • pepper mix / sufficient quantity

How to make

  • Put tomatoes and rice in the Bento box, cut the chicken breast in to slices and place on the rice, decorate with sesame seeds.
  • Season the swordfish medallion with salt and pepper, cover in flour, then in beaten egg, then in Panko.
  • Fry the swordfish in oil.
  • Compose the second floor of Bento box with swordfish fried medallions decorated with dijonnaise, all the fruits and the soy beans.
  • Stir-fry the chicken in hot oil for 30 seconds per side.
  • Mix the honey with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and pour the compost on the chicken, cook until the meat is caramelized.
